I purchased all 3 of these language kits and would say the verbs and categories are my most used items with students on my caseload. I love the verb tiles and feel I get much more buy-in from my students than with traditional verb cards. I also love how the verb tiles fit perfectly onto the included sentence frame. Many of my students need this extra support to compose a complete sentence. I love how the included downloads are packed with additional visuals. This resource is amazing for targeting noun+verb-ing, verb-ing+noun, pronoun+is/are+verbing, irregular past tense verbs, etc. I reach for this resource daily!
I've recently been gravitating to the category minis more for some of my students who are working at a level where they need a variety of categories. I can use these minis for association building- the elephant and giraffe go together because they're both zoo animals, etc., divergent naming, convergent naming, etc. Again, I am able to get the students' buy-in for the structured activity using mini items. They are definitely a must-have when working with elementary students.

Oh my gosh! There have been very few times that I have fallen in love with a product, but this is one. It was love at first trial. ;) I ordered all three sets, categories, verbs, and wh questions, but let me say, wh questions has blown everything out of the water. How am I using it? Who, What, Where prepped page - We are working on MLU, building a sentence, identifying the who, what, and where, answering questions, asking questions, using the page to formulate a grammatically correct sentence including part of the question. For example, "The astronaut is opening the umbrella at the beach" What is the astronaut opening? We have to include part of the question in our answer. Look, the astronaut and the beach are still on the page, so I know The astronaut is DOING WHAT at the beach.

Seriously, I don't know if this makes sense, but it is amazing! Do not hesitate to purchase the wh question set!

I love these minis and the downloads that come with them. I was just a little upset that it's only my fourth day using them with students and two of the minis have broke already.

Love this product. Kids enjoyed the pieces. Very engaging.
